The Recording EDGe and RecEDGe Records' goal is to put the most money possible into your pocket from your music sales. Recording EDGe/RecEDGe Records takes the hassle out of the digital music placement process so you can stay focused on creating your musical art.
When we start working together, please send us everything digitally.
When you send everything to us digitally, you only have a $50 digital music placement setup fee cost out of pocket. If we have to type, scan stuff and tweak everything, we have to charge a $150 setup fee per CD placed on iTunes. RecEDGe Records is all about helping you get your Indie music available to the entire digital world so you have an equal chance to be heard. Help us by staying all digital! The “digital only” exception is that you will need to provide us 3 copies of your CD complete with artwork. Don’t have a bar code? Recording EDGe can create one for you, along with ISRC codes, and we will encode them in your digital release's Metadata.
Although it is RecEDGe Records desire to place everyone's Indie music, Recording EDGe/RecEDGe Records has a review process for recording quality and content. Once we receive your CDs we review your music. Recording EDGe/RecEDGe Records reserves the right to decline placing your music digitally. Recording EDGe offers CD mastering services as well as assistance in re-mixing should you desire our help.
